About Ride Hard (Raven Riders #1):
Brotherhood. Club. Family.
They live and ride by their own rules.
These are the Raven Riders…
Raven Riders Motorcycle Club President Dare Kenyon rides hard and values loyalty above all else. He’ll do anything to protect the brotherhood of bikers—the only family he’s got—as well as those who can’t defend themselves. So when mistrustful Haven Randall lands on the club’s doorstep scared that she’s being hunted, Dare takes her in, swears to keep her safe, and pushes to learn the secrets overshadowing her pretty smile.
Haven fled from years of abuse at the hands of her criminal father and is suspicious of any man’s promises, including those of the darkly sexy and overwhelmingly intense Ravens’ leader. But as the powerful attraction between them flares to life, Dare pushes her boundaries and tempts her to want things she never thought she could.
The past never dies without a fight, but Dare Kenyon’s never backed down before…

One month ago, I had never read a motorcycle club romance, and now I have read two! I am completely OBSESSED. The MC guys steal my heart, and the girls earn my respect and admiration–Dare and Haven are no exception to that.
Ride Hard follows a sweet and steamy romance between Dare Kenyon and Haven Randall–two people that should not fit together but who are actually perfect for one another. They are up against so much–their age difference, their pasts, their inner demons–but they have family, friends, and readers rooting for them to be together.
Dare is patient, kind, protective, and sexy as hell. Haven is sweet and shy, but she is also full of passion and a curiosity that is contagious (and she can bake what sounded like uh-mazing treats so have some cookies on hand when reading this). I was so happy to watch Dare (did I mention he’s sexy?) help Haven experience life after having been locked away by her father. Haven’s take charge attitude with her list of to-do’s was fun to watch. These two made each other stronger. What more could a reader ask for?
The sense of family that one comes to expect in an MC romance is there is spades–I particularly have a soft spot for Mav, Bunny, Phoenix, and Cora. One can also expect some suspense; however, Ride Hard is on the lighter side in terms of grit and angst, which I suppose is fitting considering Haven’s sweet nature and Dare’s point in life.
Overall, my first Laura Kaye book did not disappoint! I’ll be going back to read the Hard Ink series, and I cannot wait to read more of the Raven Rider series!
